Our Drop-In Tutoring sessions are held most Sundays from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Check the schedule below for specific dates. Drop-In Tutoring is a popular way for students to get academic support in a relaxed, stress-free environment. It gives students the chance to work through their assignments and problem sets while knowing help is available whenever they need it.

Matt Holmes, our experienced tutor, typically leads the sessions. Matt is highly skilled in Math and Physics, as well as all aspects of Test Prep (SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT Math).

In addition to academic help, we provide free pizza for all students. Students can also use this time to work on SAT and ACT Math problems and receive valuable strategies for test-taking.

Pricing:
Drop-In Tutoring is offered for a flat fee of $84.00. Payment can be made via Credit Card or Checking Account. To register, please complete our Payment Authorization Form below.

Matt discovered his passion for mathematics during his high school calculus class, sparking a tutoring career that began in 2015. From the University of California to Santa Fe Community College, he's worn various tutoring hats, including roles as a small group tutor and graduate teaching assistant. Matt strives to foster comprehension over memorization and believes that guiding students toward independent discovery can be key for achieving deeper understanding. Meeting students where they are, Matt sheds light on connections between mathematical concepts that are often overlooked.

Matt's scientific side emerged during research internships at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he applied math to real-world problems in computational physics. Excited to share his expertise, he offers tutoring services spanning from elementary to advanced undergraduate levels in math, along with standardized test preparation for exams such as the SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT, HSPT, and AP.

Outside whiteboards and textbooks, Matt enjoys rock climbing, cycling, stand-up paddling, reading, and playing board games. Committed to promoting critical thinking and scientific literacy in everyday life, Matt brings a well-rounded and engaging approach to both his tutoring and personal pursuits.

Kaden Burke: In-Person, Online, Drop-In Tutoring

B.S. Mechanical Engineering, University of Washington, 2025

Kaden has a lifelong passion for science and math which he has explored both through his high school and college coursework as well as his hobbies and career outside of the classroom. Through his tutoring lessons, he hopes his students will not only improve their grades but also gain a better understanding of the material they are learning in school and strengthen their overall mathematical intuition in the process. Kaden is offering tutoring lessons for math and physics students through the high school level, in addition to preparation for AP, ACT, and SAT tests.

Aside from class work, Kaden enjoys spending time working on his car, making pottery, playing the guitar, snowboarding, and rock climbing. He loves to explore how the mathematical concepts he

learns in class can apply to his hobbies and career outside of the classroom. He thinks that with the right guidance, any student can recognize how things they learn in class can be seen in the real world.

In the future, Kaden hopes to work as a mechanical engineer in the automotive industry.
