Program Overview:
Our 3-week SAT Prep Camp is designed to give students the tools and strategies they need to perform their best on the digital-only SAT. This intensive program runs Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Each day will focus on key sections of the SAT, including hands-on practice and expert guidance to help students improve speed, accuracy, and confidence.
The class will be taught in-person by our instructors using iPads and Notability, with content projected onto the board for all students to see. Remote students will view the same material via Zoom, where it will be screen-shared live and recorded. All students will have access to the recorded lectures to review the material later—whether to reinforce their understanding or catch up on a missed session.
Math Portion:
The Math section is now entirely calculator-permitted, with Desmos integrated into the digital testing platform, although students are allowed to bring their own calculator. In this camp, students will work on key math topics such as Linear, Quadratic, Exponential, and Rational Expressions as well as Data Analysis, Functions, Geometry, and Trigonometry. Each session will include timed practice sections, followed by a thorough review of answers. Instructors will teach Desmos strategies to optimize use of the calculator during the test, as well as general techniques to solve problems faster and more efficiently.
Reading & Writing Portion:
This portion includes both Reading Comprehension and Writing and Language sections. Students will practice strategies for tackling complex reading passages, and in the Writing and Language section, they’ll focus on grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure. After completing practice sections, instructors will go over the answers, teaching students how to improve speed and accuracy with targeted strategies. In particular, students will learn how to quickly identify errors and make corrections, all while managing time effectively on the digital test.
